Jason Stephens

LPL Financial Advisor 

Jason began his career in the financial planning industry in 1999 and has maintained a genuine passion for helping others pursue their financial goals. He started at Edward Jones and later joined Merrill Lynch before deciding to become an independent financial advisor. In 2008, he affiliated with LPL Financial, gaining greater flexibility to serve his clients and address their individual financial needs. 

 

Jason is passionate about living out his Christian faith through his work. In 2015, he founded 29:18 Planning, naming the company after Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” He enjoys teaching others to manage money and possessions through the principles of biblical stewardship. Jason encourages his clients and community to live according to God’s Word and to pursue their lives with purpose and vision. 

Jason is a member of the Kingdom Advisors community in Houston. Kingdom Advisors equips Christian financial professionals to integrate biblical wisdom with financial expertise in serving their clients. 

 

Jason and his wife, Amanda, have four children. Jason and Amanda attend The Harbor, where they actively serve their church community. 

 

Outside of work and church, Jason trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Barra Pearland under Professor Marcelo Azevedo. He also loves getting to spend quality time with his beautiful bride Amanda.
