Jason Stephens
LPL Financial Advisor
Jason began working in the financial planning industry in 1999 and has a true passion for the field. He started his career at Edward Jones, and then moved on to Merrill Lynch before ultimately deciding to branch out on his own as an independent financial advisor. In 2008, Jason made the decision to be an independent financial advisor allowing him more flexibility to best serve his clients and their financial needs. He chose to affiliate with LPL Financial, one of the largest independent financial broker/dealer firms in the country.
As a Christian, Jason has a passion for living out his faith in his business. In 2015, Jason started 29:18 Planning, naming the company after Proverbs 29:18 which says, “where there is no vison, the people perish…”. Jason enjoys teaching management and stewardship of money and possessions in the way God would have us. He encourages others to live out God’s Word in their own lives and not live a life "without vision".
Jason is a part of the Kingdom Advisors group in Houston. Kingdom Advisors serves Christians in the financial industry by educating and training professionals how to incorporate biblical wisdom and financial expertise into their client services.
Jason and Amanda have four children with their oldest, Madison a team member at 29:18 Planning. They are both members of a local church called The Harbor and are active in serving their church community. Apart from church and work, Jason also trains Brazilian Ju Jitsu at Gracie Barra Pearland under Professor Marcelo Azevedo. He also loves getting to spend quality time with his beautiful bride Amanda.
